TOUR INFO
Our Trekking Trips
The style of our trekking:
Trekkers are modern nomads. This is why our main concept “The Nomad Way of Trekking” is based on tradition and technology of nomadic life. Nomadic movements of Mongol herders are not conducted randomly, but according to precisely-defined traditions. Nomads have exploited the bio-physical system and in order to prevent depletion of the pasture lands, which are their natural resources, they managed the landscape in a really sustainable way… Mongolian nomadic life has developed one main purpose: to keep the natural resources (soil, water and vegetation) in their “original” condition and to use these resources in straight ways so to avoid all harm. This leading principle is already set on our programs with quality of sustainability.
Typical Trekking Days:
The best way to experience Mongolia’s unbeatable combination of natural beauty, cultural riches and unique nomadic lifestyle, is to walk. Trekking in Mongolia is not only a wilderness expedition, but also an authentic cultural experience. Most of days begin with stunning steppe sunrise when the crew brings around hot cup of tea and a warm bowl of washing water. After hearty breakfast cooked we generally walk for 3 to 4 hours. You are encouraged to walk at your own pace, stopping frequently for photographs or to meet local nomads. There is a lot of leisured time, which will allow you to write your travel diary, relax in a magnificent landscape or walk around to discover the area surrounding the camp.
